Miss Japan Yuumi Kato has become the talk of the Miss Universe town in Bangkok because of her Sailormoon national costume.

But beneath that kawaii façade, Kato is a fighter, and days before the finals on Dec. 17, people are pegging her as one of the strongest delegates from Asia.

Lifestyle had a recent fashion shoot with her wearing holiday pieces from Rustan’s, before she flew to Bangkok for the Miss Universe pageant.
