Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen lauds Catriona’s ‘richly deserved victory’

MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen has congratulated the Philippines for what she called “another richly deserved victory” in the recently concluded Miss Universe 2018.

In a post on Twitter, Sen described Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray as “stunning and well spoken.”

“Congratulations #Philippines,” she wrote. “Another richly deserved victory!! A stunning & well spoken #MissUniverse2018 Catriona Gray.”

To recall, then Miss India Sushmita Sen competed against 76 other contestants, including Miss Philippines Charlene Gonzales, and eventually was crowned Miss Universe 1994 in Manila. /kga
