The gathering of loved ones around delicious specialties makes an occasion even more memorable. For starters that usually last way after dessert, a grazing platter full of bite-sized chunks of cheeses, cold cuts of meat and other condiments spells celebration with a capital “C.”

Let’s start off with a basic platter arrangement, and the creative options can come later.

You will need from the deli section of the supermarket, or specialty stores like Santis, the following:
Assorted cold cuts
Pickles, olives and nuts
A selection of crackers
Truffle honey and flavored jams
Cheese that you can cut into cubes or thick wedges

Choose a platter that is big enough for your grazing assortment.

Much like putting a puzzle together, arrange things on the platter evenly, giving importance to color, and making sure a little of everything is evenly distributed so everyone can partake from all sides.

Place crackers near the spreads for easy access.

Tip: You may also use a chopping board or live-edged wooden slab as a more interesting platter!

Our suggested selection includes salami, mortadella, ham, cheddar cheese, brie, manchego, gouda, goat cheese, olives, pickles, cherry tomatoes, assorted nuts, square and round crackers, bread sticks, truffle honey and flavored jam.
