Your mantra for the week: “O cosmic Birther, bring forth all my heart’s desires.”
Every year, I make sure to reprint the only prayer that Jesus ever taught, in its original Aramaic language title, directly translated to English as: “O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration.”
It means Jesus knew that the Universe is made of energy vibrating in different frequencies.
Compare it to today’s version of “The Lord’s Prayer” and discover a different world and meaning. What a difference it makes if prayed properly—the effects would be just as distinct.
“O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration! (Our Father which art in heaven)
“Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide (Hallowed be thy name)
“Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of your mission. (Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done)
“Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire. (On earth as it is in heaven)
“Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish. (Give us this day our daily bread)
“Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us (which means Jesus accepted the theory of reincarnation) as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes. (And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors)
“Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment. (Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil)
“For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth-power and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again.”
My ‘son’ also rises
My heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Christian Tan and Michelle Lim on their beautiful wedding last week. I’ve known Christian since he was a little boy.
At 6, he was already an active member of the Temple of Prayer, Peace and Prosperity, religiously attending its activities with his parents and sister until he left the country for further studies.
Having watched him grow into a fine, bright young man and knowing he had chosen an equally fine, young lady in Michelle to marry, I am filled with pride and joy for this milestone in his life.
Their love story began in 2011 when they met in Boston, Massachusetts, where they were based. Initially, they disliked each other until friends drew them together and they started hanging out. Their constant companionship blossomed into a romance, and the rest is history.
Manila was their choice for the wedding. With the blessing of their parents, William and Kathy Tan, and Rick and Joy Lim, Christian and Michelle were wed on the first week of January at the Sunset Pavilion of Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
Michelle looked exquisite in a Vera Wang with beadwork embellishment by Apartment 8 and veil by Elaine Lim Kawsek. Christian was handsome and dapper in a black Armani suit.
Fred Faustino was best man and Rachelle Lim, maid of honor.
A cocktail reception was held, followed by a 10-course dinner at Sofitel’s grand ballroom. Four hundred fifty guests attended, with family and friends flying in from Italy, United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore.
Exclusive event
Meanwhile, the popular Mely Concepcion-Hechanova ended her year with a quiet celebration in her residence, with 50 members of the family and close friends.
It started with a Mass at 6:30 p.m. in her living room.
The event was so exclusive, no pictures have been made available.
Rarely seen in the social world but present were Cesar Gabaldon with lovely wife Rica, Chuchu Madrigal with husband Mandy Eduque, and Randy and Cecile Limjoco.
Of course, there was Mely’s family, including her brother, Joe Concepcion (my former co-detainee at Camp Crame), and his twin brother, Raul (with wife Menchu de las Alas).
A truly nice way to end the year for Mely! Wishing her more years to come.
