Troye Sivan, Kodaline and Years & Years are headed to Manila

Troye Sivan is headed to Asia for the seven-city “The Bloom Tour.” He will be performing in Manila for the first time on  May 1 at the Mall Of Asia Arena, according to concert promoters MMI Live and Live Nation which are working with presenter Smart.

 

Troye, an actor and popular YouTuber who launched his debut album “Blue Neighbourhood” in 2015, is currently promoting his second album “Bloom.”

Irish band Kodaline (singer Steve Garrigan, guitarist Mark Prendergast, bassist Jason Boland and drummer Vinny May) will be back in Manila for a show on Feb. 26 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. MMI Live is producing the show, which supports the band’s third album “Politics of Living.” In the album, they team up with hitmakers Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran, Liam Payne), Johnny Coffer (Rag’N’Bone Man, Beyoncé), Jonas Jeberg (Dizzee Rascal, Kylie Minogue), Stephen Harris (Miles Kane, Kaiser Chiefs) and Johnny McDaid (P!NK).

It’s the first Asian tour of British electro-pop trio Years & Years (vocalist Olly Alexander, bassist Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Turkmen on keyboards) and MMI Live and Live Nation are bringing them to Manila. They will be performing at the New Frontier Theater (formerly Kia Theatre) on Feb. 25. The band’s latest album, “Palo Santo,” came out last year.
