A 2-year-old boy was rescued in Alabama, USA, after getting stuck inside a claw machine when he crawled his way in to get a prize.

Kelsey Ingersoll said that she brought her family out for dinner at a local pizzeria, along with some of her friends and their kids on Monday night, AL.com reported on Tuesday. The group ate their food in the pizza restaurant’s gaming area so their children could play, and the parents keep an eye on them.

Her daughter later ran to her and said that her 2-year-old son, Ezra, had crawled toward the machine to get a toy. She said that the machine’s opening was big enough for the child to crawl in. However, the machine door would not open in the other direction, getting the boy stuck in the machine.

“It literally took him seconds!” Ingersoll was quoted in the report when she realized that her son was inside the machine.

Police and firefighters then responded to the scene to get the boy out, since the restaurant did not have a key to the machine. Firefighters were able to take off the machine’s top to set the boy free.

Ezra was not harmed when he got out, and even got the toy that he wanted. Ingersoll said that the pizzeria also invited them back for free pizza and toys.

“It was a crazy night for sure,” she said about what happened.  Katrina Hallare /ra
