Spruce up your bathrooms with a few, well-placed pieces.

These bathrooms have been turned into showstoppers and some into just more inviting powder rooms for guests to enjoy.

For a more simple transformation, repurpose some of the everyday practical bathroom accessories.

Most bathrooms have built-in accessories. Below, on the wall to the left of the mirror, is a mounted toothbrush holder.

Place a ceramic plate that will serve as a tray for rolled hand towels.
Put a scented candle on top of the soap holder. Add a bottle of cologne or perfume for your guests to enjoy.
Put a plant in the toothbrush holder and give pride of place to the liquid soap holder by placing it on top of a wooden stand. You have the option of layering a mirror disc for texture.
