Telepathy is the psychic ability or power to receive or transmit thoughts without the use of one’s physical senses. It is also called “mind reading.”
Of all the known psychic or ESP (extrasensory perception) abilities of humans, telepathy is the most common or most often manifested. It is also the first ESP powers extensively studied and investigated by scientific researchers in the West, such as Dr. JB Rhine of Duke University in North Carolina in the 1930s.
Many people around the world have experienced spontaneous telepathic communication or mind reading without any intention of doing so. This has happened to me many times. This is because telepathy is one of the natural inner faculties of the human mind.
Telepathic messages can be transmitted and received over long distances. This has been proven by experiments conducted by Western researchers.
However, mainstream science has not yet accepted that such powers exist.
‘Knowing men’s hearts’
The Christian Bible describes several occasions or incidents in which Jesus Christ reveals his telepathic powers, although the word “telepathy” is not found in the Bible. Instead, Jesus’ telepathic power is referred to as “knowing men’s hearts.”
The following are only two examples in the Gospel of Luke, in which Jesus demonstrates his power of mind reading or telepathic communication:
Luke 9:46-48
“An argument arose among (the disciples) as to which of them was the greatest. But Jesus, aware of their thoughts, took a little child and put it by his side, and said to them, ‘whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me, welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.’”
Luke 11:14-17
“Jesus was casting out a demon that was mute. When the demon had gone out, the one who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed. But some of them said, ‘He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of demons.’ Others tested him asking for a sign from heaven.
“Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: ‘Any kingdom divided against itself will fail.’”
Another ESP power displayed by Jesus Christ is his ability to read a person like a book. The gospel of John (4:1-30) tells the story of how Jesus read a Samaritan woman’s life story, to her great surprise.
“A Samaritan woman came to draw water from a well, and Jesus said to her, ‘Give me a drink!’ (His disciples had gone to the city to buy food).
“Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty.’ The woman said to him, ‘Sir, give me this water, so that I may never be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water.’
“Jesus said to her, ‘Go call your husband and come back!’ The woman answered, ‘I have no husband.’ Jesus said to her, ‘you are right in saying, I have no husband, for you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true.’”
“The woman said to him, ‘Sir, I see that you are a prophet.’ And she went around telling everybody that Jesus read everything about her.”
On several occasions, I have successfully done spontaneous psychic readings of persons unknown to me without my deliberately trying to read them. If I try to analyze or read a person using logic, I fail miserably.
Everyone can do what Jesus had done, for he himself said in John (14:12): “All the works I have done you can do and much more than these.”
