WATCH: Bb Pilipinas 2019 bets show off their talents

MANILA, Philippines — Seventeen out of 40 candidates vying for the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 crown took to the stage to show off their talents at Farmer’s Plaza in Cubao on Saturday afternoon.

Ilene De Vera from Mandaue, Cebu, performed a sexy Hawaiian dance wearing a floral top and a grass skirt.

Hannah Arnold from Masbate, April Short from Zamboanga City, Samantha Bernardo from Palawan, and Emma Tiglao from Pampanga stayed true to their cultural roots as they showcased folk dances.

Meanwhile, Sigrid Grace Flores, 26-year-old beauty from Iloilo, and Malka Shaver from Zamboanga Sibugay serenaded the crowd with sweet songs.

Jessarie Dumaguing from Puerto Princesa and Gazini Ganados from Talisay, Cebu, took to the stage and performed flawless belly dancing.

Twenty-four-year-old Cassandra Colleen Chan from Bacolod City showed her skills in ballet dancing by performing the “Don Quixote” piece.

Denise Omorog from Catanduanes did a spraypainting Mayon Volcano through Francia Layderos from Libon, Albay presented a painting using glitter.

Larah Grace Lacap from Quezon City did a modern dance with two back-up dancers.

Tarlac-based Mary Grace Murphy was not contented with one talent so she performed a song and a hip-hop dance.

Dia Nicole Magno from Butuan, Caraga highlighted her culture by doing a Christian-Muslim dance.

Marie Sherry Ann Tormes from Polangui, Albay, wowed the crowd with her rendition of “I Believe.”

Alannis Binoya from Batangas capped the competition by singing Beyonce’s classics such as “Crazy in Love” and “Halo” while dancing.

Bb. Pilipinas Miss Globe 2018 Michele Gumabao hosted the event.

Sitting as judges were Bb. Pilipinas 2018 Miss International Ahtisa Manalo, Bb. Pilipinas 2018 Miss Grand International 2018 Eva Patalinjug, and the first ever Filipina crowned as Miss Intercontinental Karen Gallman. /atm
