It’s refreshing to witness a multinational brand put much effort into understanding the current market’s needs and the different realities today.

With social media at the center of connecting individuals, it’s been a lot easier to see how people live, be it with their beauty regimens, or even environmental efforts. Unilever has taken action with respect to the innovations of its various brands.

The consumer goods multinational recently hosted media and bloggers to a three-day “Beauty and Personal Care Summit” at Anya Resort Tagaytay.

The activity discussed Unilever’s new campaigns on its latest beauty and personal care brands.

The new vegan and cruelty-free Love Beauty and Planet is known for its efforts of using recycled bottles. The latest blue and yellow variants contain Philippine coconut oil.

The All Things Hair Refillery Station is new in the Philippines as well, with high hopes from the media that it would cut down on the use of plastic.

We also learned more about the empowerment efforts of the Dove Self-Esteem Project, which is something that I feel is quite important today for young girls everywhere.

Closeup’s #FreeToLove campaign is also notable, as it gives space for conversation and celebration of all kinds of love.

Pond’s likewise has several products that are affordable yet effective for all skin types and ages.

Self-love is one of Unilever’s thrusts, encouraging people to take good care of their bodies.

The participants enjoyed the activities, including a morning yoga hosted by Rexona, mini-massages using Vaseline’s latest UV Gel Lotion, and TRESemmé’s styling with new Micro Mist.

Learning about products for your daily grooming needs not only makes you look good, but also makes you feel great inside.

Dove’s Nourishing Secrets uses various natural key ingredients that moisturize the body.

Sunsilk’s natural line uses watermelon and coconut, and caters to the younger market.

Creamsilk’s latest addition to the Triple Keratin series, red Ultimate Color Revive, is for colored hair. It was launched in celebration of some of the country’s most empowering personalities, such as Love Marie Ongpauco-Escudero and Yassi Pressman. —CONTRIBUTED
