Move over goats and cats, there is a new animal-themed yoga in town — it is called “lemoga.”
A luxury hotel and spa in England is launching yoga with lemurs next month as part of its “wellness” program.
While in downward dog, guests of Armathwaite Hall can befriend one of the lemurs — described as “perfect yoga buddies” for their outgoing, friendly personalities.
The sessions will be hosted in partnership with the hotel’s adjoining Lake District Wild Life Park.
The concept is part of the hotel’s wildlife-centered wellness program, which links mindfulness with nature.
The luxury inn is set on 400 acres of private woodland in the Lake District.
The Escape Lemoga Spa Break package includes one yoga session, overnight accommodation, breakfast, full access to the spa and a three-course dinner. Rates start at £495 (about P33,500).
Not so much a lemur person? Other programs include walks with alpacas and encounters with meerkats. CE/MKH
