Vegan makeup is having a moment — particularly when it comes to mascara. If you are looking to give your lashes a boost this season, look no further than these hot new plant-based launches.
Tarte Cosmetics
Earlier this month, cruelty-free brand Tarte unveiled its brand new “Big Ego” vegan mascara, which claims it will keep lashes lifted, flake-free and fully-loaded for 16 hours. A plant-based formula containing Babassu, glycerin and Vitamin B5 helps to keep lashes hydrated, soothed and moisturized, while sunflower seed wax keeps them looking naturally thick.
Milk Makeup
Cult vegan cosmetics brand Milk Makeup is also stepping up its mascara game, with the upcoming launch of its new “Kush Waterproof Mascara,” set for launch on April 20. The launch follows the release of the label’s “Kush High Volume Mascara” last year, and features a similar Cannabidiol oil-infused formula that uses plant-derived oil for flake-free, healthy-looking lashes.
Kat Von D Beauty
Beauty mogul Kat Von D’s cosmetics brand also has a new vegan mascara launching this week, in the form of “Go Big or Go Home.” The volumizing mascara’s formula comprises a plant-based blend of waxes from olive and sunflower oils, with the brand promising that the product will not smudge, flake or clump.
