LOOK: ‘Treasures of SOX’ features best of Soccsksargen’s food, handicraft

 

MANILA, Philippines — Some of the best food products and handicraft from Soccsksargen were showcased in the “Treasures of SOX” expo at Robinsons Place Manila on Thursday.

 

Various small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) and associations were in “Treasures of SOX” selling some of Region 12’s delicacies and textiles.

 

The T’boli’s Tinalak from South Cotabato was among the attractions in the event.

 

 

Baskets, bags and accessories made of pawa or buri stems were also in the spotlight at the trade fair.

 

Also featured in the event was North Cotabato’s pride, the Kuvi civet coffee made with coffee beans from the excretion of a civet cat or locally known as “Milo” or “Alamid.”

 

“Treasures of SOX” runs from April 25 until April 28. /muf
