On May 20, Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila held its senior high school graduation ball at Sofitel Philippine Plaza with the theme “Sic Parvis Magna,” which means “Greatness from Small Beginnings.”

The theme represents the journey that students experienced at FEU High School—from having no idea how the new curriculum would work, to receiving countless opportunities that their alma mater provided for them.

For the ball, the students wore their outfits with confidence. To be You gave out special prizes and awarded the best dressed.

Highlights of the event included performances by OPM artists such as This Band, I Belong To The Zoo, and Al James.

I Belong To The Zoo sang its hit song “Sana,” while This Band performed “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” and a cover of December Avenue’s “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig,” upon the students’ request.

There was also a surprise production from a younger batch. To end the night, the students serenaded their respective dates and performed spoken-word poetry. —CONTRIBUTED
