As June marks Pride month, numerous brands have released collections to show their support, with proceeds from the rainbow-themed pieces set to go to charities that benefit the LGBTQ+ community. Read on to see some of the fashion brands that have joined the cause.
ADIDAS
The sportswear brand launched their ‘Love Unites’ campaign which features Adidas Originals Pride Pack sneakers: Ozweego Pride, Nizza Pride, and Continental 80 Pride. The collection also includes sweat pants, hoodies, and shorts, among others.
The brand will also be supporting The Trevor Project, which is a suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ youth.
POLO RALPH LAUREN
Polo Ralph Lauren is partnering with Stonewall Community Foundation. As consumers shop their gender-neutral Pride capsule collection, a percentage of each item’s purchase price will be donated to the foundation, benefitting an international network of LGBTQIA+ organizations.
In line with the campaign, the brand has also tapped various personalities like comedian Patti Harrison, ballet dancer Harper Watters, actress Josie Totah, and photographer Jacob Bixenman, among others.
NIKE
Nike’s ‘BETRUE’ 2019 collection features five designs with the brand’s Swoosh trademark in rainbow hues. The collection, in partnership with Gilbert Baker Estate, pays tribute to artist and activist Gilbert Baker who designed the rainbow flag in 1978.
H&M
Celebrating the right to love, H&M showcases a ‘Love For All’ collection filled with vibrant pieces that can be easily mixed and matched — raising awareness and reinforcing the brand’s message of inclusivity and equality.
CALVIN KLEIN
Calvin Klein promotes self-expression, confidence, and inclusivity through its campaign which features Indya Moore, Adrian Sotiris, Rozanne Verduin, and Liam Daniels. The brand has also made a donation to The Human Rights Campaign™.
MICHAEL KORS
Michael Kors’ #MKGO Collection includes the seven hues of the rainbow on eye-catching pieces like a sequin dress and top, white denim pants with peekaboo sequins, a one-piece swimsuit, and various bags, among others. All proceeds from the sale of the rainbow-hued T-shirts will also go to God’s Love We Deliver, a non-profit organization that delivers healthy meals to those living with severe illnesses in New York City.
ASOS
ASOS collaborates with GLAAD for the third time with a 50-piece collection featuring neon pullovers, track jackets, snake-print co-ord sets, sunglasses, and more. The collection also offers various sizes and unisex designs, plus 100% of all net profits will got to the LGBTQ organization.
GAP
Gap’s collection, which is part of Gap Inc.’s partnership with the United Nations Free & Equal campaign, includes rainbow-colored pieces featuring phrases like “Free to Be Always” and “Be Kind” made available not only for adults but also for kids, including babies.
DKNY
DKNY’S capsule collection supports the Hetrick-Martin Institute and features apparel, watches, accessories and intimates featuring a rainbow DKNY logo.
