Brighten up your tablescape with fresh lemons.

Core out some lemons, so you can use them as vases and candle holders. This DIY activity will brighten up your setting.

The happy yellow shell will provide a wonderful contrast to flowers, and when used to hold tea lights, they add to the soft glow provided by the candle.

An added bonus: The lemons provide a subtle fresh scent.

Cut the lemons in half.
Trim the pointed bases to allow the lemon to stand.
Core out the lemon with a spoon.
Cut the lemon in half so you can use it as a tealight holder, and a little higher so you can use as a vase.
