Sweet, fresh, sunny—perfect for a rainy day

Kate Spade’s Spring-Summer 2019 collection marked the debut of the luxury fashion design house’s new creative director Nicola Glass, who designed for the accessories line of Gucci and Michael Kors.

The collection, unveiled after the untimely death of Kate Spade in June, was described by Vogue writer Anders Christian Madsen as “the only way out of the darkness was to embrace the light.”

Glass’ take on the new Kate Spade woman is sweet and fresh. The collection is full of florals, bright prints and girly silhouettes, showcasing a light and colorful future for the brand.

Lifestyle takes a look at some of the collection’s pieces.
