Jeremy Zucker + Kiana Valenciano bring the pop to Karpos Live Mix

The eighth edition of Karpos’ Live Mix concert series brings New Jersey singer-songwriter Jeremy Zucker to the Philippines for the first time (all of Asia, actually), co-headlining a show with homegrown talent, R&B/pop artist Kiana Valenciano.

Jeremy Zucker first uploaded songs to his SoundCloud during his first year in college but it wasn’t until he started getting featured in Spotify playlists that things started to blow up for him, attracting attention and going on to working with acts like blackbear, Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler (with whom he’s released an EP entitled “brent”).

Also a producer, he’s racked up a number of collaborations in multiple genres, and has performed in several music festivals. His EPs include “Beach Island,” “Breathe,” “Motion,” “idle” and “glisten.” He’s working on his first full-length album, which will be released by a major label.

Headlining her first major show, R&B/pop songstress Kiana Valenciano released her much-anticipated 10-track debut album “See Me” earlier this year, with features by Sofia on “K Bye,” KINGwAw on “Faded, Love” and Curtismith on “Keep It Secret.” Title track and lead single “See Me” was released on her birthday, a few months prior to the full album, which dropped almost exactly a year after her “Grey” EP came out in 2018. The daughter of Gary Valenciano, Mr. Pure Energy himself (does that make her Daughter of Pure Energy?), Kiana has made a name for herself out of the shadow of her father. She’s been performing and winning awards since she was as young as 7, and has shown herself to be equally adept at soulful tunes as lively floorfillers.

Karpos Live Mix 8 takes place on the evening of Sept. 24 at ABS CBN Vertis Tent in Quezon City.

Regular tickets are priced at P3,500, available on karposlive.com; made possible by Karpos Multimedia.
