In the continuing effort to be the universal peg of all chic women, Victoria Beckham released Lid Lustre. These single pot eyeshadows come in four high-impact shades infused with healing crystals. I’ve always been on the fence about crystals. There is merit to what they can do, but the recent social media attention it’s been getting has got me skeptical.
Victoria, however, can make me wholeheartedly believe in anything.
Each Lid Lustre has crystal properties are for “aura-amplifying energy.” Because with Victoria is an eyeshadow, just an eyeshadow? No. It’s a symbol of her saving grace, of her ability to transcend the girl group trap and to be known as more than just that soccer player’s wife.

There’s the shade Onyx, a deep black with silver pearl and infused with black obsidian against negativity. Blonde is a pale crème with yellow gold pearl, infused with citrine to inspire creativity and self-expression. The taupe brown Mink is infused with tiger’s eye for courage, strength, and personal power. For those who need to attract prosperity and abundance, go for the deep navy that is Midnight, infused with amethyst.

Any of these colors are fit to play up that signature smokey VB eye with some black liner. You can also use them alone, on top of any base color for a bold one eyeshadow look.
Victoria, like fellow crystal believer and makeup mogul Miranda Kerr, has long admitted she can’t do without a stone wherever she goes. See below this “In The Bag” video feature she did with British ‘Vogue.’
She says, “I really am into crystals. I’m a positive thinker. I believe in creative visualization. The glass is always half full. I have no time for anything negative. Actually, I bought crystals for all my team, so all my team carries crystals as well.”
It looks like Victoria’s mantra works. After meeting mainstream approval for her fashion label, she put up her eponymous line of makeup last September. The launch wasn’t much of a surprise for true Victoria fans given her successful collab with Estée Lauder in 2017.
Victoria Beckham Beauty is a luxury line that believes in clean beauty. On the website, the brand explains, “The ingredients we put in our formulations matter, because clean products free from harmful toxins should be a universal standard. Our impact on the environment matters, because our world is precious.”
As of now, they have the Kajal Liner, Smokey Eye Brick, and the Lid Lustre. There is a “Coming Soon” promise for lip products and even a skincare line. Victoria Beckham Beauty ships worldwide.
