The news headline in a September 2019 issue of the Inquirer caught my interest: “US Navy says UFO videos shot by its pilots are authentic.”
The news item, datelined Norfolk, Virginia, reads: In one of our videos, a small object streaks across the sky before the US Navy fighter jets tracking system locks on and follows it. One pilot yelled, “Got it!”
According to the news report, the US Navy isn’t offering an explanation—or at least not publicly—for exactly what the object was. But the service is confirming the authenticity of the video and two others taken from its planes in 2004 and 2015.
“The release of the videos, which have been circulating online and in news reports, was not authorized,” a US Navy official said. But the footage has prompted the US Navy to publicly discuss an ongoing investigation into sightings by its pilots of what it describes as unidentified aerial phenomena or UAPs in US airspace.
This is the first time I have learned that a US military agency has officially acknowledged the authenticity of unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings by its pilots.
In 1952, the US Air Force conducted systematic studies of unidentified flying objects until it was discontinued in January 1970. The Condon Report, which was based on such studies, concluded that “there was no evidence that sightings represented technological developments or principles beyond the range of modern scientific knowledge and there was no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as ‘unidentified’ were extraterrestrial vehicles.”
‘Misidentifications’
By the time Project Blue Book ended, it had collected 12,618 UFO reports. It concluded, “Most of them were misidentifications of natural phenomena (clouds, stars, etc.) or conventional aircraft on secret missions. A small percentage of UFO reports were classified as unexplained, even under stringent analysis.”
I believe that Project Blue Book investigated only sightings of UFOs in the United States territory, but hundreds of thousands of UFOs have been reported all over the world and witnessed, perhaps, by millions of people. I was wondering, could all these people be wrong or hallucinating?
Why did such sightings proliferate only after the atomic bomb was exploded in Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Why are many sightings reported near military installations and nuclear power storage facilities?
Edgar Mitchell, the American astronaut who was the sixth man to walk on the moon on the Apollo 14 mission, was quoted to have reported to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) that there was a strange spacecraft that followed his Apollo 14 spaceship from the earth to the moon, and asked Nasa if it was one of theirs or not. Nasa replied it was neither theirs nor Russia’s, but was told to shut up.
While in outer space and on the moon, Mitchell conducted very successful but unauthorized ESP experiments with three people on earth. The secret experiment was leaked to the public by one of the recipients of the telepathy message, the Swedish psychic, Olof Jonsson, whom I met in Manila in 1987 or 1988. He confirmed to me that the reported telepathy experiment was true.
When Edgar Mitchell left Nasa, he established the Institute of Noetic Science (105) to study phenomena ignored by mainstream science.
I believe that UFOs come from other planetary systems or outer space. They are not from earth and they are manned by extraterrestrial beings. Many people in other parts of the world have encountered such beings. Some have been abducted and even studied by them. I myself have seen and met an E.T. in a mystical place in Lucban, Quezon, but who will believe me?
The US Navy at least has admitted the videos taken by its pilots are authentic. That’s the first step. Later on, who knows: Various governments may be forced to admit that aliens do exist!
