If you find yourself not knowing what date it is, you’re not alone. The days are going by in a busy fashion and there’s only so little time to make the most of 2019. You may think I’m exaggerating, but you’ll see the truth in my words come Christmas.
With barely two whole months left in 2019, incorporate a few essentials that will help you worry less and get you out of sticky situations. As the calendar fills up with meetings, parties, and after-work hangouts, have something like the Ellana Cosmetics Gaia Magnetic Makeup Palette in your bag for that quick touch up. This palette can hold a few must-have to help you refresh your look throughout the day. In mine, I have the Ellana Cosmetics Multi-purpose Creams that can serve as a lip creme, blush, and eyeshadow. They can be easily be blended with your fingers. Plus I also have the Lip Drunk Blush in Mimosa as it serves also as a subtle highlight and lipstick topper.
If you want another product you don’t have to fuss with, I suggest the Maybelline Superstay Ink Crayon. This raved beauty product is for those who like the long-lasting formula of the Superstay Liquid Lipstick but prefer the ease of a classic lipstick. It has a tapered tip and a built-in sharpener so you can line your lips and fill them in with just one tube. My current favorite is the deep red-brown “Living on the Edge.”
In my vanity, I have products that work double-time. Since there are times I can’t keep my eyes closed long enough for a full cleansing routine, I do the minimum with the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloth. I like how it feels like water on the skin as it doesn’t sting but does a good job of erasing my makeup. It’s also fragrance-free and non-comedogenic so it’s safe on sensitive skin.
After I cleanse, I still put a premium in one of the most basic hygiene habits: toothbrushing. I like how the Closeup White Attraction Natural Smile Lemon Essence + Sea Salt doesn’t leave my mouth feeling numb. The gel-formula instead gently cleanses your teeth with sea salt and leaves your breath fresh with lemon essence. Plus it promises to whiten your smile in two weeks.
Spray-on products have also captured my “no time, all the time” schedule. For a quick DIY manicure session, I approve of the Sally Hansen No More Stains Spray-On Base Coat. You just give each nail a spritz and the formula dries almost instantly. A base coat like this is important to protect your nails from discoloration and also strengthens them to prevent annoying hang-nails.
For my toner, my latest discovery is the Lush Tea Tree Toner Water. Since it has tea tree, it helps with acne-prone skin and also cuts down on the tugging on your skin. No need to wipe this with a cotton pad. Just spray it on and pat it into your skin gently. You can also use this throughout the day for on-the-go refreshment.
