Caritas Margins Church Social Enterprise invites early Christmas shoppers to its Buy & Give Trade Fair on Nov. 4-7 at at the Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive, Ayala Center. Entrance is free.
Now on its seventh year, Buy & Give Fair features some 3,000 products such as food, home care, personal care, handicrafts and religious items.
Artworks and paintings are done by prison inmates as part of the Catholic Church’s prison ministry.
For the trade fair, Caritas Margins this year has partnered with the cooperative sector led by the Union of Metro Manila Cooperatives and Federation of People’s Sustainable Development Cooperative. Public sector cooperators include the Regional Cooperative Development Council—National Capital Region and Cooperative Development Authority, Manila Extension Office.
Private sectors supporters include Caritas Manila, TV Maria, Veritas 846, Segunda Mana, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, Victor R. Potenciano Medical Center and Centro Escolar University.
Caritas Margins is a nonstock, nonprofit organization that markets quality products of micro entrepreneurs from all over the Philippines. The Buy & Give Trade Fair will benefit assisted poor micro entrepreneurs and partner cooperatives nationwide. The proceeds will also support the scholars of Caritas Manila Youth Servant Leadership Education Program.
There are 12 Caritas Margins outlets in Caritas Manila Pandacan, Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 4, Market! Market!, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Delos Santos Medical Center, Ali Mall, Fairview Terraces, Alabang Town Center, Greenfield District, San Ildefonso Parish and Holy Trinity Parish.
