Here are the five physical attributes that attract guys to women, whether they know it or not.
Clear bright eyes
When we talk about taking care of ourselves, we normally think about our skin, nails and hair. While these three are all part of physical attributes men look at, we forget about our eyes.
Men, without then even knowing, are attracted to clear bright eyes. They give off a message of health and youth, so rest your eyes as often as you can.
Tip: Keep eye drops in your kit so you can relieve tired or itchy eyes.
Lustrous hair
Using shampoo a few times a week will actually keep our hair’s luster. Using it everyday may not be advisable, especially since some shampoos have too many chemicals.
When rinsing, use cold water to close the cuticle, which will make hair surface smooth and shiny. It is also best to use a serum after baths.
Not only do serums keep hair shiny, but products with silicon seal the cuticle and protect the hair from styling tools that cause friction, limiting hair damage.
Pick a brush with natural bristles to redistribute the oils, boosting shine in the process.
There are products that rob hair of shine, such as alcohol- or chemical-based products. Pollution and direct sunlight also affect the shine of the hair.
Tip: If you take care of your brush, it will last for years. Acca Kappa brushes are made of natural bristles. Available at Rustans.
Clean hands and feet
Protect your hands and feet at all times. If you do a lot of chores then use rubber gloves.
When you drive, before you get behind the wheel, make sure you’ve applied enough SPF.
When sleeping, wear socks with petroleum jelly and wake up to smooth soles.
Men not only notice the hands and feet, they also like them smooth. The occasional mani-pedi goes a long way for women. It is also the fastest way to vamp up your look by experimenting with colors.
There is really no excuse to have unkempt nails, since in this day and age you can even have them done in the comfort of your own home.

Clear skin
There are four basic steps to keep skin at its best. First, you need a good cleanser. Use a creamy cleanser, and if you have dry skin, use an oil-based one.
Bar soaps should only be used from the neck down, since it’s normally harsher on the face and may strip away moisture. Also make sure to get a good mild makeup remover.
Tip: I highly recommend Lancome Bi Facil when it comes to the eyes; I like how fast and gentle it works. All over the face, I use Shu Uemura cleansing oil.
Also, never use cold or hot water; either may cause broken capillaries. Use lukewarm water instead.
The second step is to exfoliate. Scrubs work by removing the top layer of dead skin cells that cause dull complexion. It is good to exfoliate once week at least, although there are scrubs you may use everyday, it is really up to you.
When you use a scrub, it also helps your skin make the most of the moisturizer you use be helping it get absorbed properly, which is actually the third step.
Moisturizers help seal in moisture. Eye creams are also necessary, since the skin around the eyes contains no fatty tissue and is thin and very susceptible to wrinkles. In addition, moisturizers keep the skin supple and smooth to the touch.
Lastly, apply sunscreen. Most moisturizers and lotions contain SPF, so they’re very convenient. The sun is the number one cause of premature aging, sun spots and uneven skin tone.
Try: There are products out there that come with a three-step solution, so if you are new to this, you may want to just avail yourself of such a kit.
White teeth
There are a lot of products that will help in whitening teeth. Picking a toothpaste that helps whiten the teeth is for those who want to maintain or remove surface stains.
However, getting your teeth whitened by the dentist can make your teeth three to eight shades lighter. For a while, your teeth will experience sensitivity, but I think it is worth the pain.
Staying away from teas and dark colas in general is good if you want to maintain white teeth.
Tip: Red lipstick gives the illusion of whiter teeth.
