Ronnie and Menchu Concepcion celebrated their 60th (diamond) wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows last Nov. 21.

The ceremony was held at the San Pedro Calungsod Parish Church on Sumulong Highway in Antipolo, which was built and donated by the couple to the Church.

Ronnie and Menchu feel that their union has been abundantly blessed, especially with their five children, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

To document their journey, Menchu wrote a journal titled “Giving Back” in which she related her journey and experiences with her husband who is afflicted with an illness. She gave away copies of the journal to the guests. The church and her journal are the Concepcions’ way of giving back to the Lord.

The reception was held in the Concepcions’ sprawling property beside the church, with a commanding view of Antipolo.
