Shortly after their surprise wedding over the weekend, Megan Young and Mikael Daez are willing to let us in on a few secrets. On their podcast “#BehindRelationshipGoals,” they’re starting a series all about their marital life. “We Are Married” is the first episode of the series. It’s cool that Mr. and Mrs. Daez are straightforward after pulling a fast one for their nuptials.

The episode serves two purposes. First, it’s the reboot of the couples’ podcast, the last episode of which was uploaded Nov. 2019. Second, it takes us through how their wedding, albeit seemingly abrupt, was years in the making. You’ll find out how Mikael proposed impulsively to Megan, much to the actress’ preference. “A lot of people, traditionally, they plan things out. They think of what kind of gimmick, what should they do to propose to their loved one. But honestly, I’m glad you did it that way because I’m not a fan of gimmicks. I’m not a fan of grand gestures, so I’m so happy did it na it was just the both of us. ‘Cause it was just so personal and it felt so us, our personalities,” shares Megan.

Mikael then replies, “I remember telling you as I asked you that I’m already committed to you. And it’s not like that was going to change. Like for me, I’m the type of person that when I give to someone I give wholeheartedly.”
