Aspiring photojournalist and filmmaker captures the beauty of his school on camera
Far Eastern University (FEU) has been my home for almost seven months now and I am looking forward to the next three years of my college life.
In the center of Morayta in Manila is this institution that’s home to works by National Artists everywhere you look—from Art Deco buildings, paintings, sculptures and murals, to symmetrical pillars, artistic designed stairs and even a Smiling Tamaraw Garden.
It is truly a home of rich culture and history. —CONTRIBUTED

The sculpture is divided into four clusters, which represent the thoughts of Dr. Reyes on education, patriotism, freedom and justice. —PHOTOS BY DANIEL DEAN JACOBThe FEU Chapel, designed by Felipe Mendoza in 1957. The altar inside is raised higher to enable people sitting in the shade of the FEU plaza to see and hear the ongoing Mass inside the church. The interior of the church is also filled with paintings by Carlos “Botong” Francisco, especially the crucifix at the altar. Some modern paintings inside the Nicanor Reyes Hall study area: “Moriones” by Roxas et al. Green and gold: Like the official colors of the FEU, the campus is filled with greenery and the golden surroundings especially during the golden hour.
