How Kim Chiu is mobilizing COVID relief efforts

Like many of us Kim Chiu has been staying home since the quarantine, posting on social media what has been keeping her busy.

On Day 10, Kim Chiu posts about a home workout challenge that she encourages you to do, too: 1000 jumps everyday for seven days, using a jump rope.

“You can try this at home too! Stop at every 100 jump if its tiring,” Kim Chiu says, “Keep safe everyone! Stay healthy!”

Two weeks on, Kim Chiu drops another inspirational home workout post and the requisite TikTok “for goodvibes”.

On her post Kim Chiu shares her Youtube accounts of choice for home workouts. She recommends Popsugar Fitness, Strong by Zumba, Les Mills, and Chloe Ting.

Kim Chiu also takes the time while in quarantine to post on her Youtube channel, after a hiatus, a video titled, “THE TRUTH! Breaking my silence”. In it she clarifies rumors about a terrifying incident where gunmen fired at her van.

Kim Chiu has also been busy mobilizing relief efforts in her community amid the COVID crisis.

“We decided here at home to help neighbouring communities near our village, since we can’t venture too far because of the lockdown,” Kim Chiu says, “We were happy that we were able to assemble relief packs for 500 families.”

“I hope I can also inspire someone to do something like this,” Kim Chiu says, “Let’s help each other!” —JG
