Collab drop! Lady Gaga partnered up with Ariana Grande on “Rain on Me.” The song is the second single off Lady Gaga’s sixth studio album ‘Chromatica.’
“Stupid Love,” Lady Gaga’s first song from ‘Chromatica‘ dropped last February. It’s the hitmaker’s first solo track in three years.
“Rain on Me” hits the ear easy. No surprise since Gaga and Ariana are pop music’s biggest names. They are not unfamiliar with the formula for a Billboard chart-topper.
Let it play as we head into the weekend. Is it the equivalent of a cool shower in this May heat? Not really, but it’s close. You’ll be amused at the wordplay and rhyming on this track. The bridge goes, “Hands up to the sky/I’ll be your galaxy/I’m about to fly/Rain on me, tsunami.”
Now when I cry instead of fighting it I say “I’m ready rain on me” @bloodpop thank u for encouraging me to keep going when I was sad. Turns out even if you don’t feel good enough you still can be. I heard my joy back when we wrote this song. It was there, I just needed to find it
