Catch Tom Hiddleston in Shakespeare’s ‘Coriolanus’ for free

In need of a breather and the elegance of theater without changing out of your PJs? The Royal National Theatre in London has got you as they will make the 2013 production of ‘Coriolanus’ available to watch on YouTube starting tomorrow, 2 pm Philippine time.

The play sees Tom Hiddleston in the titular role. You’ll get to see him flex his theater know-how and his versatility as an actor. It will be a treat, especially if you’ve only seen him as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Coriolanus‘ is one of William Shakespeare’s most celebrated tragedies, and believed to be one of the last he penned along with ‘Anthony and Cleopatra.‘ Set in Rome, the plot revolves around political manipulation, power, ambition, and revenge. Perhaps something that could help us focus our perspective on specific issues these days?

The production is directed by Josie Rourke, former creative director of the Donmar Warehouse. Cast includes Alfred Enoch, Deborah Findlay, and Mark Gatiss.
