Astaxanthin is a carotenoid that has a reddish-pink color. Humans do not produce astaxanthin but this pigment is present in algae, plants, and some animals such as shellfish. We can take it from our diet. Astaxanthin is an antioxidant like Vitamin C and E. It helps reduce free radicals in our body. As a result, it helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and keeps the skin looking youthful.

We are also interested in products containing lycopene, and Vitamin E. Can you tell us more about these two ingredients?

Lycopene and Vitamin E are also antioxidants. Lycopene is found in plants usually with red color such as tomatoes.
