On her official Twiter account, @Estrada21Karla, the actress posted what looked like her plea to followers and fellow Filipinos.

“TAMA NA ANG BANGAYAN. ISANTABI MO MUNA ANG GALIT. FOCUS TAYO SA TUNAY NA KALABAN NA NAMAMAYAGPAG HABANG DI TAYO NAGKAKAUNAWAAN. MAGDAMAYAN AT MAKIPAGTULUNGAN MUNA TAYO. DAHIL HIGIT SA LAHAT MAS KAILANGAN NG MAKABANGON ANG BAYAN MULA SA PANDEMYA NA ITO,” she said today, August 3.

(Enough fighting. Let’s set aside our anger. Let’s focus on the true opponent which has been spreading while we do not understand each other. Let us care for each other and help each other first because most of all we need to rise from this pandemic as a nation.)

The TV host made an appeal to help medical frontliners who are working hard to give the best medical care.

(Let us all help our medical frontliners by helping ourselves avoid getting sick. Stay at home and enforce cleanliness in your homes. We all need to sacrifice again, for a moment, in exchange for the long suffering of this COVID-19.)

Estrada reiterated in another tweet that there is no room for divisiveness and articulated her fear for her family.

(This not the time for us to be divided because we have only one goal. We all want to be freed from this COVID-19. As a mother, my fear for my family is through the roof. Let us all do what we can to make our lives easier.) NVG
