Of late, actress Alessandra de Rossi has been dishing out God-related statements online. But who she is addressing, and what for, remains a mystery.
Her musings on God can be read from her Twitter page today, Aug. 13. Without mentioning names as to whom her tweets are directed at, she declared that preaching the word of God and hating someone at the same time will not work.
“If you want to preach about God, show me God in you w/o hating anyone. You can’t say I’m this/that and you’re all sinners and I know the way, so I’m the one. San si God doon? (Where is God there?) I only see a self-righteous human being who’s seeking validation from people and not God. Exodus 20.2,” she said.
De Rossi reiterated that being judgemental and having full of hate are some things that people should be ashamed about.
“Nakikita ko kasi si God sa buhay ng ibang tao kahit hindi sila nagsasalita. Sadyang it shines lang and good people are the best examples para makita ko si God. You can’t God God and be the most judgemental and hateful person at the same time. Nakakahiya sa Diyos. He is forgiving,” de Rossi added.
(I see God in the lives of other people though they are not talking about it. It just naturally shines [from them] and good people are the best examples from where to see God. You can’t [keep talking about] God and be the most judgemental and hateful person at the same time. It’s a shame before God [because] he is forgiving.)
“I am no perfect human being.,” de Rossi declared. “I have seen the worst people but I can’t judge for I am no God. If you say GOD sees my life and what I do… Bakit kailangan mong ipamukha sa lahat kung gaano ka kaperfect? Di ba enough si God? O magpapaconcert pa kami for you? Puwede rin naman.”
(Why do you have to rub it in our faces that you are perfect? Isn’t God enough? Or do we have to hold a concert for you? That can be done.)
