Coming from a broken family, young star Maymay Entrata wants her first boyfriend to be her “forever.”
In a media conference via Zoom Monday, Aug. 17, Entrata was asked about love lessons she learned as she plays Master Lovecaster DJ Zari in podcast anthology “Listen To Love”, where “The Four Bad Boys and Me” is the first story to be featured.
Entrata turned giddy when asked what love lessons she’s learned in the past, taking her sweet time to answer the question.
“Natutunan ko na sarili ko na…sa experience ko po, natutunan ko na mas i-take time pa na mas kilalanin mo pa ‘yung tao na gusto mong mahalin sa panghabang-buhay kasi ‘yung panghabang-buhay ay hindi kasi madali talaga,” she said.
(I’ve learned from myself…from my experience, I’ve learned how to take time to get to know the person who you want to love for forever because a lifetime is really not easy.)
“Kung iyon ‘yung talagang intention mo kapag magbo-boyfriend ka, kapag maggi-girlfriend ka. Eh, ang intention ko is forever. Paano ‘yun?” she explained.
(If that is really your intention if you want to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. My intention is forever. How is that?)
To make a relationship last, Entrata rattled off a few ingredients which will make it work.
“At saka dapat alamin mo rin kung pareho kayo ng language, alamin mo rin kung compatible kayo. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na bagay kayo ay iyon na ‘yun eh. Nandoon pa rin tayo sa understanding, communication, faithful, loyalties, ‘yun,” she said.
(You should know if you speak the same language, you should know if you’re compatible. It’s not that you’re good together and that’s it. There has to be understanding, communication, faithfulness and [loyalty].)
Star Cinema’s “Listen To Love” brings hit Wattpad novel “The Four Bad Boys and Me” by Tina Lata to life. It is topbilled by today’s most promising young stars Jeremiah Lisbo, Rhys Miguel and Kaori Oinuma, and directed by Joel Ferrer.
“The Four Bad Boys and Me” revolves around loner Candice Gonzales (Oinuma). Her life changes when she gets in trouble with the four bad heartthrobs at school. She annoys them except for Marky (Lisbo), whom she has a crush on.
While they become close to each other, Candice ends up being bullied by Jeydon (Miguel). Will it be possible for Candice to have the “happy ending” she wants? Or will it be too much to ask for because of how life has been ruined with them? Let’s find out as DJ Zari (Entrata) tells us the entire story.
“The Four Bad Boys and Me” will be streamed via Star Cinema’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel, every Tuesday and Thursday beginning Aug. 27. NVG
