Comedian and “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” actor Awra Briguela was miffed at the latest actuations of vlogger-influencer Buknoy Glamurrr whose recent Twitter video went viral for not-so-favorable reasons.
The video has since been deleted by Glamurrr but found its way again on the microblogging platform as it has been reposted by netizens. In the viral video, Glamurrr was seen walking alone in a street one night while dressed to the nines.
“Sino single? Sana all may jowa! Sana all tsismosa! Sana all may pera na dimunyu ka!” he said in the video. (Who’s single? I hope everyone has a partner. I hope everyone gossips. I hope everyone has money, you demon.)
Glamurrr wore no mask or face shield while out in the street. When he was told that a mobile patrol vehicle was on its way, Glamurrr sped away from the scene, apparently worried that he might get apprehended.
Briguela, obviously irritated, aired out his sentiments on his Twitter page on Aug. 20.
“SANA ALL NAKAKALABAS NG WALANG FACEMASK, SANA ALL NASUNOD SA PROTOCOL AT SANA ALL WALANG CURFEW YUNG LUGAR,” Briguela said.
(I hope everyone can come out without a face mask. I hope everyone observes [health] protocols and I hope there is no curfew in that area.)
Without naming Glamurrr, it would appear that Briguela was taking a swipe at Glamurrr’s supposed recklessness, to which Glamurrr answered back, saying on Aug. 21, “Laki talaga ng galit saken ng isang influencer Dyan, imbis n idm ako para Sabihan na mali ako siniraan panga.”
(One influencer out there really has a huge grudge against me. Instead of sending me a direct message to tell me about the wrong I did, he would rather ruin me.)
“[Bakit] kase nag aantay ka na my magtama sayo di mo kayang itama sarili mo?” Briguela retorted on the same day. (Why are you waiting for someone to correct you? Can’t you correct yourself?)
It did not end there are as Glamurrr again answered back: “Hala Wala pokong alam, Alam kolang ang laki ng galit mo sakin.”
(Whoa, I don’t know anything. All I know is that you have a huge grudge against me.)
To that, Briguela retorted, “Hala kelan ka mag kakaalam?”
(Whoa, when will you ever know?)
The Department of Health advises the public to observe basic protocols to help curb the spread of the novel coronavirus: wearing of face masks and face shields, frequent hand washing, and observing social distancing. JB
