There’s something about a pair of sandals that makes you feel like you can do anything.
Sandals provide comfort. They also can have a stylish flair. Sandals manage to appeal to different fashion movements. They are associated with chic personalities and those with a lifestyle that’s oriented to the outdoors. Sometimes, you will also see sandals worn in a subversive, carefree fashion attitude. Don’t forget how they became a staple for #dadcore, and at the same time, were seen on the runway.
Sandals resonate with different generations too. I think it’s because of their versatility. Sandals are fitting for almost everything: from running errands to lounging at home.
Anyone who knows me understands how, as much I love heels, I also go hunting around for a perfect pair of sandals. A recent discovery is Cacatoes.
Jordane Assouline is the mind behind Cacatoes, “driven by a permanent need to create.” All Cacatoes pairs are made in Brazil with a French touch. Every pair is designed with specific details you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.
One of the best things about them is how they’re made entirely of PVC recycled plastic. They’re also meant to last long as they’re waterproof and heat-resistant. To me, that means you can be with them from the beach to the city, and back.
You’ll also be amused at how Cacatoes are bubble-gum scented and that they come in a ton of colors.
Cacatoes is available for men, women, and kids. You also get an array of styles: embellished, studded, solid, glittery, or metallic.
Don’t be surprised if you find me with more than one pair so I can mix and match them with my different looks!
