Ayala Foundation with Ayala Malls, the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Restaurant Owners Association of the Philippines, is holding BuyANI: A Sustainable Market Fair in various Ayala shopping malls till late October.
The fair offers fresh produce and regional food favorites, including organic fruits and vegetables, dairy products, herbs, wines, coffee and other locally cultivated products, at DA-controlled prices.
BuyANI Market kicked off on Sept. 11-13 at Glorietta, then continued Sept. 18-20 at Alabang Town Center.
BuyANI Market will continue Sept. 25-27 at UP Town Center; Oct. 2-4 at Ayala Malls The 30th; Oct. 9-11 at TriNoma; Oct. 16-18 at Market! Market!; and Oct. 23-25 at Bonifacio High Street.
Community-based initiatives supported by Ayala Foundation are participating in BuyANI: Inang Kalikasan Agriculture Cooperative of Calauan, Laguna, which specializes in organic vegetables and ornamental plants; and Iraya Mangyan Store of Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, which produces indigenous woven crafts.“Even as we are facing this global pandemic, we at Ayala Foundation continue to show our commitment to community development,” said Ayala Foundation president Ruel Maranan. “We have been actively involved in relief initiatives for families nationwide severely affected by COVID-19 (new coronavirus disease), but we also make sure that our efforts to contribute to improving people’s lives are sustained.” —LITO B.
