Kris Bernal explains why she supports small businesses

Being a businesswoman herself who knows how hard it can be at the start, Kapuso actress Kris Bernal has expressed her support for fledgling entrepreneurs.

Bernal initially ventured into the burger business via her Meat Kris burger stall years ago, a Korean restaurant called House of Gogi (which she opened in August of 2018 and closed in July of this year), and SHE Cosmetics in 2019. She therefore expressed her support for a newly launched business for breast protection, as per her Instagram post on Sept. 19.

This new advocacy is Bernal’s way of helping new entrepreneurs who want to eke out a living.

“Small business owner supporting small business owners,” she said in her post where she is shown carrying a pair of breast lifters from a new company.

“I honestly appreciate starting entrepreneurs making efforts and being creative in the way they present their products,” she said, stressing that “this is not a paid ad or sponsored.”

“Aside from the support, I just wanted to share these products with my followers cause these are a must-have for every female,” she added.

Bernal also noted how “small business owners love what they do.”

“When it comes to showing my support for small businesses, it’s important to do so, and not just to help them gain revenue and stay operational,” Bernal added. “Supporting small businesses give them a fighting chance to make their dreams happen.” JB
