If there is one thing that Chito Miranda can tirelessly talk about, it is his wife Neri Naig’s numerous achievements in business.
The Parokya ni Edgar frontman has been proudly sharing with fans updates on his wife’s acquisitions, the latest of which is a 6,000-square-meter piece of land, as per his Instagram account yesterday, Oct. 7.
Miranda raved about Naig’s recent success, admitting that it’s one thing he can’t surpass.
“Ako, kumikita pa rin ako sa pagbabanda (I still earn from playing in a band). Thankfully, we still get our full [talent fees] for all our online shows. Nakakapag-provide pa rin ako for our family, at nabibili ko pa rin naman yung mga gusto kong baril. Pero di ako makakabili ng 6000sqm na lupa,” he admitted. (I am still able to provide for our family and buy my favorite guns. But I can’t buy a 6000-square-meter piece of land.)
According to Miranda, his wife’s latest acquisition came after she bought a lot in his favorite village and a condo unit at Pico de Loro.
“Tawagin nyo nang pagmamayabang dahil pinagmamalaki ko yung ginagawa ng asawa ko, or sabihin nyo nang nai-inggit ako dahil mas malaki na yung income nya compared to what I was making, even before the lockdown started…ok lang,” he said.
(Call it arrogance, [but] I am proud of what my wife is doing, or you can say that I am envious because her income is now bigger compared to what I was making, even before the lockdown started. It’s okay.)
But more than taking pride, Miranda is inspired by what Naig has achieved for herself. He credits his wife’s business savvy in selling dried fish, coffee, vinegar, beddings, jewelry and pajamas. He also revealed that Naig will soon have her own online shop.
“And recently, nakabenta sya ng 15 na lupa (she was able to sell 15 lots) in less than a week… by utilizing her #teamwais network of resellers and distributors by making them referral agents for a licensed real estate company,” he said.
Miranda also claimed that Naig’s resellers have achieved success too, after one was able to buy two vehicles (a car and a pick-up van) while another reseller was able to buy a townhouse. The singer praised the resellers’ online selling skills, not to mention their perseverance.
Challenged by his wife’s achievements, Miranda said in jest, “Actually, gusto ko syang tapatan! Gusto kong bumili ng mas malaking lupa hehe!” (Actually, I want to match what she has done. I want to buy a bigger property [laughs].) JB
