Actress and restaurant owner Judy Ann Santos felt elated to feed frontliners, calling it a “privilege” to make food packs for them.
Santos expressed gratitude to those who funded the food packs as well as those who helped her make them, as seen in her Instagram post yesterday, Oct. 26.
“We had the privilege to make 300 food packs to our frontliners [care of] my [Green Cross] family. Thank you so much for the trust,” she said.
It was raining, all right, but that did not dampen Santos and her staff’s spirits to continue to prepare food packs. She said they came as early as 5 a.m. to Alabang to make the meals.
Santos assured that everyone underwent swab testing as part of their safety protocols and that they all tested negative for the coronavirus.
“Walang bagyo bagyo sa pagbibigay ng malasakit sa kapwa. Libre at masarap sa pakiramdam ang magpakita ng malasakit at appreciation hindi lang sa ating mga frontliners kundi sa lahat ng kapwa natin,” she said.
(No storm can stop us from being compassionate to others. It is free and heartwarming to show concern and appreciation not only to our frontliners but to fellow [Filipinos] as well.) NVG
