Celebrity vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome made herself busy on Nov. 1 through an activity for her broken and “dead” heart, that of unboxing all the stuff sent back to her by her ex-boyfriend.

In the process of unboxing, she spoke up about her feelings on the breakup.

“It’s my first time being open about my broken heart by unboxing things my ex returned to me on the day of the dead.. a day for my now seems lifeless heart,” she said in her YouTube channel last Sunday.

While still hurt from the split, Bartolome in a sort of half joke managed to ask her ex-boyfriend to wait for another six months before replacing her. She then wished her ex the best and she apologized to him for “not being enough.”

“I still wish you find the right one who can give you everything I can’t. I’m sorry what I could give wasn’t enough. I’m sorry for not being enough or not being the right one for you. I tried even if it meant I would lose myself,” she said. “[Because] the happiness you brought into my life was such a blessing.”

Bartolome seems to have fully accepted her fate, professing that she still offers prayers for her ex every night, and even thanking the Lord for bringing him into her life.

“Your existence and your love was what helped me keep going when I wanted to give up. That’s why I love you enough to let you go. I’m sorry for everything and I want you to know I’ve always forgiven you before you said every sorry in our almost [six] years of knowing each other.”

Bartolome explained that the breakup has been for the good of both of them, although she admitted that she does not know when she would be able to recover from it.

“All I know is I don’t want to ever see us hurt each other again and though I’m terrified I’ll regret leaving, if it means you’ll find The One I was trying to be for years, then I’ll be bitter and angry,” she said in jest.

As for the items she unboxed, these included an old laptop, BTS keychains, a pillow, clothes, slippers, hair accessories, and a set of underwear she wept over, among others. Later on she wept while enjoying a break up cake he apparently sent to her.
