Actress-comedian-singer Tuesday Vargas reflected on turning 40 years old while also marking the milestone with a sexy photo shoot.
“Forty isn’t old, if you are a tree. Life begins at 40 but so [does] fallen arches, rheumatism, faulty eyesight, and the tendency to tell a story to the same person, three or four times,” she said on her Instagram page today, Nov. 9, where she shared some images from the shoot with Nice Print.
“But truly friends, age is a matter of feeling, not of years,” she stressed.
At 40, Vargas’s views in life have changed as she acknowledged that it’s important to have a happy and youthful perspective. She now looks at things with hope and positivity because she has already seen her fair share of darkness and despair.
“Now, I look forward to each waking day because I am finally in a good place. It’s as if I was handed a new hand and I am ready to bet on myself again,” she said.
She thanked everyone who made her forty years of existence a wonderful experience.
“Cheers to everyone that contributed to the tapestry that is my first 40 years! I raise my glass to 100 more colorful years!” she exclaimed. “Thank you for all your warm birthday greetings. I appreciate each and everyone of them.” JB
