Chito Miranda now enjoying the rest house his wife Neri Naig built

Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda was initially against his wife Neri Naig’s decision to have a rest house constructed. But he has recently been reaping the benefits of her investment.

Miranda spoke about the benefits of having the said rest house via his Instagram post yesterday, Nov. 21.

“Idea ni Neri ‘to eh… na magpagawa ng [rest house],” he recalled. “Nung una, medyo against ako sa idea, pero she proved to me once again na kaya nya gawin at tapusin yung mga balak nya, and that I should have more faith sa kanya, at sa kanyang kakayahan.”

(This is Neri’s idea, to build a rest house. At first, I was against it but she proved to me once again that she can do it at she can finish her plans, and that I should have more faith in her and in her abilities.)

While Miranda knows that his mompreneur wife is highly capable, he fears that she might “be biting off more than she could chew.”

“But she keeps on doing it anyway, and keeps on pulling it off,” he said.

Now, Miranda is enjoying the rest house with its peaceful surroundings and breezy atmosphere.

“Sarap din dito eh: tahimik, maaliwalas, yun nga lang sobrang lamig hehe!” he noted.

(It feels good here: quiet, bright, but too cold.)

Miranda said he plans to have a fire pit built so that bonding outdoors there would be more enjoyable. He also shared that he brings his son Miggy to the rest house in the afternoon to have some time with a playmate, a child of Naig’s staff.

“Mas nakakapaglaro siya dito outdoors dahil may playground, swimming pool, may large open space, at pavilion kung saan takbo lang sila nang takbo,” he said with a laugh.

(He can play better here outdoors because there is a playground, a swimming pool, a large open space and a pavilion where the kids can just run all they want.) JB
