Actress Solenn Heussaff turned a bit emotional on Christmas eve day as she sent out a heartfelt message to her family who cannot be with her this year.

Heussaff spoke about how the year has taken a toll on families and how it has been hard to even get together, as seen on her Instagram post today, Dec. 24.

“To my family – I’m not sure how to put this year into a few words. I’m sure many of us don’t. It’s really been many ups and downs, and perhaps one of the best years because of Thylane,” she said.

Heussaff gave birth to her and Nico Bolzico’s daughter Thylane on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1 this year.

“Sometimes it is hard to feel happy though because of the many things happening around us. But we need to feel joy and try to find it where we can,” the actress-painter said. “[Am] sure by now many of us have relearned how to find bliss in the smallest and simplest things. And that on its own is amazing.”

“I wish my whole family was here this Christmas, but the [fates] have decided otherwise,” she said. But if it is any consolation, Heussaff still feels blessed because her loved ones are all healthy and to her, that is “the best gift” she could ask for.

“I love you all so much and miss you guys. Merry Christmas to my loved ones, and to all of you amazing human beings,” she greeted. “Let’s all keep safe, lend a helping hand, and hug again very soon.” JB
