Francine Diaz remains hopeful about her career despite the pandemic

Although she is disheartened by the pandemic because it took a toll on her career, Francine Diaz did not lose hope even while she mostly stayed at home.

“Siguro po habang naka-quarantine po ako noon, kasi nasa bahay lang ako, parang ang hirap makakita ng positivity,” the actress said during the online media conference for “Bawal Lumabas: The Series” on Dec. 8.

(Maybe it was because I was under quarantine then, because I was just at home, it seemed hard to find positivity.)

“Ang ginawa ko kasi noon ay palagi akong nagpe-pray,” she revealed. “Palagi ko na lang tinatatak sa isip ko na pagsubok lang ito at bukas ay may maganda nang mangyayari basta lakasan lang natin ang faith natin kay Lord.”

(What I did then was to always pray. I always put in my mind that this is just a test and that tomorrow, something beautiful will happen, for as long as we keep our faith on the Lord strong.)

While at home, Diaz tried to be productive by doing some vlogs episodes. This helped her gain some sense of normalcy

“Every time po na magkakaroon ako ng work kahit sa bahay lang, nare-remind sa akin na hindi naman ito ‘yung ending ng lahat, na talagang malaking challenge lang po ito,” she said.

(Every time I am able to do work, even at home, I am reminded that everything does not end here, that this is just a huge challenge.)

In “Bawal Lumabas: The Series” of iWantTFC, Diaz plays Jade, who wants to go to New York to study fashion. She has a grudge against her sister, played by Kim Chiu, because of an unfulfilled promise. JB
