I wrote about Chermaine Cuasay De Guzman’s Amalfitana (lemon olive oil cake) in my last article. That cake has won many hearts and palates!
What I didn’t tell you is that there is so much more going on in her table. She has sent me some good strawberry jam and strawberry butter I like to indulge in on weekends.
Then her twelve year old daughter Alexa, bakes the most amazing cookies. Gourmet flavors that tease your taste buds and are so well made.
Her chocolate chip cookies with sea salt that come in a cardboard tub are truly addicting. To add to all these are her sister Carole’s bottled delights.
From a savory southern style cheese pimiento, to organic chicken liver patè and pear jam. I hear she has bangus sardines that many rave about but I have not tried.
