Now on its third year, ChinaFest welcomes Year of the Ox with a fundraising bazaar and exhibit showcasing cultural photographs, lucky charms, statues and art pieces. From February 12 to 14, 2021 at SM Aura Premier, patrons can expect a wide selection of products from China such as traditional tea sets, tea collection, scarves, figurine dolls, and much more.
Organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, in cooperation with Write On Track and International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF), the event intends to extend aid to families and communities affected by the pandemic. Through the bazaar, a portion of the proceeds shall be awarded to IBF, as the beneficiary to support pandemic-related efforts of the organization.
To kick off ChinaFest’s opening, the event was graced by none other than Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Ambassador Huang Xilian; Secretary of Foreign Affairs Teodoro Locsin Jr.; IBF Chairman Ma. Lourdes Barcelon Locsin; SM Supermalls Chairman of the Executive Committee Hans Sy; SM Supermalls President Steven Tan; SM Supermalls AVP Operations – Premier 4 Bernice Baculi; Huawei Vice President Daniel Guo Zhi; Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc.
