Actress Dimples Romana is mighty proud of her teen daughter Callie’s achievement as a budding entrepreneur.
Romana revealed that her young daughter was being interviewed on Angely Dub’s podcast, as seen in her Instagram account on Saturday, Feb. 27. The episode title is “Power of Starting Young with Callie Ahmee.”
She then reflected on the challenges of parenting as well as its rewards, which she is now reaping with her daughter.
“Raising children is HARD. It’s not all smiles, never perfect, lots of heartaches, from sleepless nights to tons of worrying, stressing over things,” she said.
Parenting, for Romana, is no walk in the park as it “tests you, your strength, patience, resilience and endurance.”
But it can also be rewarding and fulfilling when one’s child grows up to be a dedicated, goal-oriented teen.
“BUT it also fills your heart with unimaginable happiness, the reward for all the years of racking my brain as a mom on how to be the best I can be to be able to raise a child who is [God-fearing], compassionate to all, kind always and [purpose-driven] is THIS. @callieahmee anak (my dear), I honestly do not know what good I have done to deserve a child like you,” she said.
“Whenever I hear you speak about life, business and family, I begin crying because all I could think about is how your dad @papaboyetonline and I were always so worried we weren’t doing enough for you as parents and then THIS,” she said, referring to her daughter’s podcast interview.
As a mom, Romana is proud of her daughter who, at 17, already ventured into the bag business with her own line, Cal, which started last year.
Romana makes sure to emphasize that her love for her daughter is not because of her achievements — it is for who she simply is.
“Callie anak, congratulations on all your achievements, personally and professionally,” said the actress. But really ate, I want you to remember that you only need to stand still and you’re already making us proud! Anything beyond that is already a bonus!” NVG
