Actress Kira Balinger expressed gratitude for the support given to her by her leading man Grae Fernandez in one of their difficult scenes together recently, in the teleserye “Ang sa Iyo ay Akin.”
Balinger and Fernandez were in a scene where the latter admitted that he was not her brother. It entailed a lot of dialog and there were times that it had to be cut to shoot another angle.
“Every scene is always memorable with him kasi lagi siyang nagbibigay lalo na sa favorite scene ko, ‘yung aminan,” she said during the online press conference last Friday, for show’s last two weeks on air. (He is always giving, especially in my favorite scene, the admission scene.)
“The noise is there. There was a few minutes where I had to recalibrate back into the scene and Grae was there. He was talking back at me as Jake talaga para ma-feel ko uli si Hope (so that I can feel my character again, Hope),” Balinger recalled
With the lock-in taping, the two were able to bond after work.
“Nagpo-foodtrip kami. Music din po. Pareho po kaming old soul ni Grae and we definitely relate to each other pagdating sa music,” she shared. (We do food tripping and listen to music. We are both old souls and we definitely relate to each other when it comes to music.)
Balinger thanks Fernandez for the friendship and trust he gave her during the period of shooting. She is also grateful to the rest of the cast with whom she was also able to bond, as they stayed together at the sixth floor of a hotel.
“Ang sa Iyo ay Akin” airs every Monday to Friday at 8:40 p.m. on A2Z channel and TV5. Viewers can also continue to follow the show on the Kapamilya Channel on cable and satellite TV. The show is also on the Kapamilya Online Live YouTube channel, the ABS-CBN Entertainment Facebook page, as well as on TFC. JB
