Take a 360 virtual adventure around Hong Kong’s off-the-beaten path outdoor destinations

Going on an adventure in off-the-beaten path destinations is one the many things Filipinos are looking forward to doing again now that tourism is slowly reopening with travel and safety protocols set in place. Hiking mountains, swimming in beaches, and even cycling in new places are on top of the list of must-do outdoor activities for many Filipinos.

Through the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s (HKTB) global initiative “360 Hong Kong Moments”, Filipinos are now able to experience all these and more through a series of 360 virtual-reality (VR) videos that will take them on an all-encompassing adventure across Hong Kong without having to leave home. Each video is crafted to remind Filipinos of their favorite memories and experiences in Hong Kong, and most especially cure the curiosity of those who have not been to the city.

The series of videos will take Filipinos around Hong Kong’s urban jungle, as well as its natural wonders—from amazing hiking and cycling trails to stunning Geopark, from rich flora and fauna to magnificent beach views.

Pro-tip: Feel free to wear your VR glasses and move around as you watch these videos to get that 360-degree view of the city!
