Actress Joyce Pring has been into reading lately, and from it, she learned something about childbirth which she hopes mothers would appreciate.

As she spoke about her learnings, Pring showed a short video of herself exercising while pregnant, as per her Instagram account, March 9, Pring and husband, actor Juancho Triviño, announced they are pregnant last month.

“Not my most glamorous lewk but definitely one that I’m most proud of,” Pring said. She then acknowledged pregnant women and how she has learned to value moms more now.

“We often talk about women’s strength during pregnancy and childbirth but MY GOODNESS we really have NO IDEA. The mental fortitude and physical toll it takes to make a baby in your belly is insane — it makes me appreciate all the mamas out there even more,” she said.

Pring’s inspiration came from reading a book about pregnancy called “Labor with Hope: Gospel Meditations on Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Motherhood” by Gloria Furman, recommended to her by a fellow mom.

Knowing that many would learn from it as well, she shared her “favorite takeaway” from it.

“Childbirth — new physical life — is evidence of God’s ongoing mercy to sinful humanity. Everyone who has ever been born has tasted this mercy. After the fall, when death entered into God’s creation, every soul conceived is a triumph of life despite death. The fact of life reminds us that we have Jesus, and if we have Jesus then we have hope,” the quote read.

Pring considers it a “beautiful reminder” to mothers.

“And here’s another reminder to get up and get moving,” she said, noting that she’s now into an exercise program for moms. JB
